Begin your adventure in our tradtional country cottage. The beautiful hand-crafted oak porch will invite you in to the cosy sitting room with original quarry-tiled floor, exposed stone wall and beams and fireplace with wood-burning stove.

Unwind in the garden while the kids watch the chickens, ducks and pygmy goats in the orchard; go al fresco and enjoy the surroundings on the private cottage patio; or cuddle up on the sofa in the living room – don’t forget the fire!

Enjoy your stay in the comfort of a kingsize double bed, dressed with luxurious fabrics and soft pillows. There’s plenty of room for a group of friends or a family of four, with additional space for two more on the sofa bed in the living room. We also provide facilities for babies and young children – just ask.

Tired of cooking? Let us cook our three-course full English breakfast for you (additional charge applies). Breakfast is served in our adjoining bed and breakfast conservatory.

Arrival Times

Check-in is available between 4pm and 8pm. Earlier/later check-in may be possible by prior arrangement. As we are not a hotel we do stress that arrival at School Cottages is strictly by appointment only.
